Vaishno Devi Festivals 2026 — Navratri Calendar & Special Pujas

Why Festivals Matter at Vaishno Devi

While the Holy Cave is open all 365 days, four festival windows multiply the spiritual energy — and the crowd. Chaitra and Sharad Navratri are the two nine-night celebrations dedicated to the Goddess; Maha Shivaratri honours Bhairon Baba and Shiva; and Diwali fills the entire complex with diyas. Plan your dates carefully — Navratri is the most rewarding but also the busiest.
