This privacy policy explains how Vaishno Devi Yatra Guide (vaishnodevidevasthan.org.in — “we”, “us”) handles information about visitors to our website.

- Comment data — comments are closed site-wide; we do not store reader-comment data.
- Push notification subscription — if you accept the notification prompt, your browser gives us an anonymous subscription endpoint so we can send you new-post alerts. It contains no name, email or phone number, and you can revoke it at any time (see section 8).

We use a small number of cookies for:

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell or rent your data to any party.
5. Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data Retention
- Server access logs are retained for 30 days.
- Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months in our email archive.
- Analytics data is retained as per Google Analytics 4 default (14 months).
7. Your Rights
You may request:
- A copy of any personal data we may hold about you
- Correction of any inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data

8. Turning Off Push Notifications
You can stop the notifications at any time from your browser: open the padlock or site-settings icon in the address bar and set notifications for this site to “Block”. Your subscription is then discarded and we retain nothing further about it. We only ever send an alert when a new guide is published — never advertising.
