The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (SVDK) railway station is the most convenient arrival point — located inside Katra town itself, walking distance to the SMVDSB Yatra Registration Counter and to Banganga (via shuttle). Major direct trains:

The nearest airport is Jammu (Satwari) Airport — IATA code IXJ, 50 km from Katra. Direct flights connect Jammu with Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Srinagar, Leh, Amritsar and Chandigarh. From the airport:
